Why Panson Carbon

More Than a Supplier — Your Carbon Partner

We control the full chain from Ningxia's Taixi anthracite mines to your furnace — ensuring every lot meets spec before it ships with a Certificate of Analysis.

Origin-Controlled Feedstock

Direct access to Ningxia's low-ash, low-volatile Taixi anthracite. We secure feedstock before the open market, delivering tighter specification bands batch after batch.

Tailored to Your Furnace

Custom particle sizing, fixed carbon targets, and sulfur limits matched to your specific melt practice. COA issued per lot.

Vertically Integrated

Calcination, crushing, screening, and packaging all within our facility. No middlemen — consistent chemistry and bulk density every shipment.

Calcined Anthracite Coal
CAC

Calcined Anthracite Coal

The workhorse recarburizer of the global steel industry. Produced from Ningxia's Taixi anthracite through gas calcination at 1,200°C+, our CAC delivers fixed carbon of 90–95% with the low ash and sulfur profiles that EAF and ladle furnace operators require for predictable carbon pickup.

Graphite Petroleum Coke
GPC

Graphite Petroleum Coke

The premium choice for applications demanding ultra-low sulfur and maximum carbon purity. Graphitized at 2,500–3,000°C, our GPC achieves FC ≥98.5% with sulfur as low as 0.03% — the benchmark for ductile iron foundries and specialty steel producers who cannot tolerate sulfur-related quality defects.

Learn More
Semi Coke
SC

Semi Coke

Produced through low-temperature carbonization at 500–750°C, Semi Coke offers an economical fixed carbon source (≥84%) with the specific electrical resistance properties essential for submerged arc furnace operations in ferroalloy production.

Learn More
Calcined Petroleum Coke
CPC

Calcined Petroleum Coke

Calcined at 1,200–1,400°C from select green petroleum coke, our CPC delivers FC ≥98% with uniform particle distribution — bridging the gap between economical anthracite-based recarburizers and premium GPC for applications where cost-performance balance is critical.

Silicon Carbide
SiC

Silicon Carbide

A metallurgical multitool: our Silicon Carbide simultaneously contributes carbon and silicon to the melt, provides powerful deoxidation, and generates exothermic energy that reduces electrical consumption in EAF steelmaking by 10–15 kWh per ton of steel.

Learn More
Ferro Silicon
FeSi

Ferro Silicon

The foundational deoxidizer and alloying agent for steelmaking worldwide. Our FeSi is produced in Ningxia's submerged arc furnaces, available in 72% and 75% silicon grades, with the low aluminum and calcium content that specialty steel producers demand.

Learn More
Silicon Manganese
SiMn

Silicon Manganese

A dual-function ferroalloy delivering simultaneous deoxidation and manganese alloying in a single addition. Our SiMn combines 65–70% Mn with 15–20% Si, enabling steel producers to achieve target chemistry with fewer charge additions and tighter composition control.

About Panson Carbon

Three Decades of Carbon Mastery

When Panson lit its first calcination furnace in 1992, the carbon additive market in China was fragmented and quality was inconsistent. We saw an opportunity to bring metallurgical rigor to an industry that was still trading on relationships rather than specifications. Three decades later, that commitment to measurable quality has made us a preferred supplier for steel mills from Nippon Steel affiliates in Japan to SABIC-affiliated foundries in the Middle East.

Today our Pingluo campus processes over 100,000 tons annually through dedicated calcination, graphitization, and screening lines — each monitored by in-process sampling that catches deviations before they reach the loading dock. Every Certificate of Analysis we issue reflects actual lot testing, not nominal values.

Industries We Serve

The performance of a carbon additive is only proven in the furnace. Here is how our products perform across the industries that depend on precise carbon chemistry.

Global Reach

Trusted Worldwide

From our production base in Ningxia, we have built supply chains that reach six continents. Many of our export relationships began with a single trial shipment and evolved into multi-year framework agreements — a testament to the consistency our partners experience container after container.

Why Choose Us

What Our Partners Tell Their Colleagues

Quality Assurance

Every lot that leaves our facility carries a Certificate of Analysis based on actual XRF and proximate analysis results — not nominal catalogue values. Our ISO 9001 system ensures traceability from raw material receipt through calcination parameters to final packaging, so when your quality team audits our documentation, the numbers match what your spectrometer confirms on arrival.

Innovation & Technology

We invested in gas calcination technology when most Chinese producers were still using Soderberg kilns. That early adoption gave us tighter temperature control, more uniform heat distribution, and lower residual volatiles — advantages our customers measure in their own furnace performance data. Today we continue to upgrade screening, dust collection, and process monitoring systems because incremental improvements compound over thousands of tons.

Customer-Centric

Our longest-running customer relationship spans over 20 years. That kind of loyalty is not built on price alone — it comes from answering a 2 AM WhatsApp message about a shipment delay, from adjusting a particle size distribution mid-contract because their process changed, and from flying to their plant when a quality concern needs face-to-face resolution. We treat your furnace performance as our responsibility.
