About Panson Carbon
Established Since 1992
For over three decades, Panson New Material Technology has been at the forefront of the carbon and alloy industry. Our journey began in Ningxia, China, where we've grown from humble beginnings into a global supplier.
Today, our Chonggang Industrial Park campus spans multiple production lines — gas calcination, graphitization, precision screening, automated packaging — processing over 100,000 tons annually. But what truly defines Panson is not scale; it is the metallurgical discipline embedded in every process step, from incoming ore characterization to final lot release.
Our Headquarters
Modern Facilities in Ningxia, China
Our location in Pingluo City is no accident. We sit within 200 kilometers of Ningxia’s Taixi anthracite deposits — among the world’s lowest-ash, lowest-volatile anthracite seams. This proximity means shorter supply chains, fresher feedstock, and the ability to characterize incoming raw material at the mine face before it reaches our calcination furnaces. For our customers, this translates into carbon products with tighter specification bands than competitors who source on the open spot market.
- Gas-fired calcination furnaces with PLC-controlled temperature profiling (1,200°C–1,400°C)
- In-house laboratory equipped with XRF spectrometry, proximate analyzers, and particle size distribution systems
- Annual throughput capacity exceeding 100,000 tons across six dedicated product lines
- Dedicated loading bays with direct rail and road links to Tianjin, Qingdao, and Shanghai ports
Vision & Mission
Our Team & Service
Vision
The carbon additive industry is changing. Steelmakers face pressure to reduce emissions, foundries demand ever-tighter chemistry, and supply chains are being reshaped by geopolitics. Our vision addresses all three forces.
To be the metallurgical carbon partner that steel mills and foundries worldwide trust not just for product quality, but for technical insight, supply chain reliability, and shared commitment to cleaner production.
Mission
We measure success not by tons shipped, but by the number of customers who reorder. Our mission is built on a simple principle: if your furnace performs better with our carbon, we have done our job. If it performs better consistently over years, we have earned a partnership.
Every investment we make — in calcination technology, in laboratory capability, in logistics infrastructure — is evaluated against one question: does this make our customer’s operation more predictable?
Our People
Our Team
Behind every COA, every shipment, and every technical consultation stands a team that combines decades of metallurgical knowledge with multilingual commercial capability.

Environmental Responsibility
Committed to Sustainability
The metallurgical carbon industry has a responsibility to the communities and environments where it operates. We take that responsibility seriously — not as a marketing exercise, but as a business imperative. Cleaner production means lower operating costs, healthier workers, and a social license to operate in Ningxia for the next thirty years.
Energy Efficiency
Gas calcination reduces specific energy consumption by approximately 30% versus legacy Soderberg kilns
Emission Control
Bag-house and wet scrubber systems capture >99% of particulate emissions from all process stages
Resource Optimization
Closed-loop water cooling and fines recirculation maximize raw material yield above 94%
Community Impact
Direct employment of 200+ workers from Pingluo and surrounding communities, with ongoing skills training
Why Choose Us
The Measurable Advantages of Working with Panson
Quality Assurance
Our ISO 9001 quality management system is not a wall certificate — it is a living framework that governs every decision from raw material acceptance criteria to shipping documentation. Each lot is characterized by proximate analysis, XRF spectrometry, and sieve analysis before release.
Innovation & Technology
We were among the first Chinese carbon producers to adopt gas calcination, automated screening, and digital lot tracking. These investments deliver measurably tighter specification bands — typically ±0.5% on fixed carbon versus ±1.5% from conventional producers.
Customer-Centric
Your dedicated account manager understands your furnace type, your chemistry targets, and your delivery windows. When you call at midnight because a shipment is delayed, you reach someone who already knows your production schedule.
